Spicy Jackfruit Tacos (1-Pot Meal!)

Friends, the time has come to share this STUNNER of a new recipe with you.

Say hello to these SPICY Jackfruit Tacos that come together in less than 45 minutes in 1 pan! Huzzah!

The base for the tacos is jackfruit, which is rinsed, sorted, and chopped. The flavor comes in waves from onion, garlic, lime, chipotle peppers in adobo, and smoky spices.

The key to this recipe is infusing tons of flavor, adding enough moisture on the front end so the jackfruit “marinates” while cooking, and then turning up the heat near the end so you get a bit of a caramelized effect.

Are you coffee drinker? A good cup of coffee goes a long way. There’s just something so perfect about a great cup of coffee first thing in the morning, am I right? Not only does coffee help you to wake up and start off your day energized, but drinking coffee actually has a lot of health benefits, too.

First off, caffeine increases your energy levels and is also one of the very few natural substances that aids in burning fat. If you still need convincing that enjoying a cup or two is good for you, just know that coffee is full of nutrients and antioxidants so it’s no wonder you feel better after enjoying a cup of coffee.  Coffee makes you happier. It’s science.

Although coffee’s great and all, many of us don’t really like plain, black coffee.  That’s why there are tons of options, like milk, sugar, coffee creamers, syrups to add into your coffee. Unfortunately, this turns your healthy cup of coffee into a cup full of sugar, partially hydrogenated fats, and all sorts of other chemicals that are not good at all for you.

Now, don’t get me wrong — I still like to enjoy my coffee with some homemade creamer, flavor, and sweetness. Sure, it adds some calories, but I believe you have to indulge yourself a bit. Still, I always try to eat (and drink) as healthy as possible, and the best way to do it is to swap the store bought stuff with homemade. Fewer ingredients, no additives or hidden sugars – sign me up!

So, YES, you can still enjoy your favorite flavored coffee and stick to your healthy ways. Making coffee creamer at home is far easier than it may sound. Let me show you to make coffee creamer for yourself!

HOW TO MAKE COFFEE CREAMER WITH MILK

Making homemade coffee creamer with milk is super simple. As always, I’ll show you how to make coffee creamer with milk and using all whole ingredients which are good for you and taste amazing!

The first step is to make a condensed milk. Although you can just get a can of condensed milk at the store, making it at home is pretty easy and you can be certain there are no added sugars or additives. Just follow my step by step guide in the recipe and you’ll have your condensed milk ready in no time.

Once you have your condensed milk, you can play around and recreate your favorite coffee creamer flavors. I’ve shared with you my top 5 which include French Vanilla Creamer, Peppermint Mocha Creamer, Hazelnut Creamer, Chocolate Creamer, and of course Cinnamon Creamer when you want a little bit of spice in your life, and coffee!

CAN YOU USE COFFEE CREAMER IN COOKING?

If you’re interested, you could use extra coffee creamer for cooking and baking, too. I mean — let’s be honest — it’s basically a sweet, flavored cream.  In most cases, you can use it as a 1-to-1 substitute for milk. It will slightly affect the final outcome, as the texture and the flavor will be a little different, especially if you’re using flavored creamers. Using coffee creamer in your cooking and baking will give a flavorsome punch to your desserts for sure.

HOW LONG DOES HOMEMADE CREAMER LAST?

Homemade coffee creamers can last up to a week in the fridge if stored in an airtight container. I store mine in sealed mason jars and always make sure they’re properly tightened.  Then, I just grab them, give them a shake to mix all the flavors together, and then pour a little into my coffee. Perfect, right?

So, let’s get to the homemade coffee creamer recipes, shall we?
